Alright, figure I'll put some more info down here if I'm using it as a pipic dump anyhow. Might as well try to resurrect the blog.

This is for a contest over on the Lead-Adventure forums, with the theme of "flight". I've found a piece of old concept art of what I originally thought was an early version of the A-Wing, but turns out to have been an alternate Raptor for Battlestar Galactica:

I've based my build partly on this, although there's a fair number of differences.

I got the khorne side of the small starter completed:

I also grabbed the slaughterpriest off the new WD. The mag itself didn't really do anything for me, but the model's nice.

He's huge though, something like 40 mm to his eyes I think. GW's deffo left 28mm scale behind, or this guy has been eating growth hormones like there's no tomorrow.

Bam. I'm rather enjoying the loaded brush technique I'm using on the skin here. Might start using it other places too.
